Bridges

It is often said that Frank Hornby designed the Meccano system to build model cranes. That may well be so – and I have built my share of them – but you could equally suggest that it is the ideal tool with which to build bridges. Over the years a whole variety of prototypes have emerged which just beg to built in Meccano, suggesting new lands to be explored, to challenges to be met.

The Latin word for priest is pontifex, which some define as bridge-builder. As a minister of religion myself this seems an appropriate genre for me to tackle! Check out some of the tabs here for some different examples.
